‘Copy parent instances’ feature creates a copy of the parent instance and populates it to a new workspace. It  involves multiple steps to do this, so the chances of doing this mistakenly is low. However, if a user creates the instance in new workspace mistakenly, they can simply delete is again from workspace using 'Remove workspace instances' option which is available right below ‘Copy parent instances’.
