Notification templates specify which events trigger an email and who receives the emails.

Note: Some fields support Velocity syntax. For more information, see Notifications and Using Velocity with Resolve
  1. From the top menu, select Administration > Notifications.
  2. Click the Notification Templates tab.
  3. Select one of these options:
    • From the Actions drop-down menu, select New Record.
    • Click the template entry.
  4. Use the Active toggle to enable the notification.
  5. Enter the template name.
  6. From the Entity model and System trigger drop-down menus, select the entity and action that triggers the notification email.
  7. Enter the email subject.
  8. In the To and BCC fields, enter the email addresses to receive the alert.
  9. In the Content field, enter the email body text.
  10. Click Save.
