Data sources contain the raw tool information imported to Resolve and are used to create findings and master findings.

Data sources are imported by uploading files created by supported third-party products and tools.

You can also upload findings from unsupported tools or manual penetration testing using a CSV file. For more information, see Manually importing data.

To import a file containing scan results to a project.

  1. From the top menu, select Workbench > Projects.
  2. Click the project entry.
  3. Click the Sources tab.
  4. Click Add Data Source.
  5. Drag the file into the upload area or click Browse to select the file.
  6. Select the import template and configuration.
  7. Select the site and zone.
  8. If needed, select the asset.
    Note: Some application scanning tools, such as Checkmarx, don't include the asset in the data source file.
  9. (Optional) Select one or more workspaces to add imported findings to.
  10. Click Add Data Source.
